Commercial electrical fit-outs, Melbourne's east

Polarised Electrical delivers commercial electrical fit-outs across Melbourne's east — power, data, lighting and switchboards for retail, hospitality and office spaces. We work to programme with builders and shopfitters, use our own crew, and hand over full compliance documentation. We attend site before quoting.

Electrical fit-outs for offices, retail and hospitality — power, lighting, data and switchboards delivered on the builder's programme, not after it.

THE PROBLEM

The electrician is always on the critical path

Rough-in late and the plasterers wait. Fit-off late and the opening slips. Every fit-out lives or dies on trades hitting their windows — and the electrical touches every other trade's work.

We run fit-outs to the programme: rough-in when the frames are ready, fit-off behind the painters, testing and certificates before handover day, not after.

GOOD TO KNOW

The rough-in decisions that bite later

Every fit-out has a moment — walls open, ceiling grid not yet in — when adding a circuit costs almost nothing. After that day, the same circuit costs ten times as much. Rough-in is where you overspend deliberately: spare capacity to the kitchen area, conduit runs to where the second EFTPOS or the future cool-room might go, data to every point-of-sale position you might ever configure.

The compliance layer runs in parallel: exit and emergency lighting positioned to the occupancy plan, switchboard capacity documented for the landlord, RCD protection across the tenancy, and certificates that settlement and insurers will ask for. Fit-outs that skip this at rough-in pay for it at handover — usually in the week they'd planned to open.

Finished switchboard upgrade with RCBOs on every circuit
While the walls are open, circuits are cheap. That's the week to overspend.

You'll know the price before the tools come out.

Excellent service! The team arrived on time and completed the installation efficiently and up to scratch. Everything was done neatly, with great attention to detail. Ryan and Jack are top blokes and easy to deal with. Highly recommended!

Jeffrey Belvez · Glen Waverley

Absolutely fantastic service and work done! The boys were super accommodating, answered any questions I had without a problem, left everything neat and tidy and overall did an amazing job installing our battery and inverter. Cannot recommend enough.

Isaac Giblett · Battery + inverter

Zak and Ryan did a amazing job. Even with the obstacles of a double story home with a internal switch board they persevered in the heat and got the job done. Thanks guys we realy appreciate your work and polite attitude.

Stephen S · Switchboard

Luke and his team installed our solar panels over the space of 2 days. Great service arrived on time and communicated well, took away all rubbish made sure the place was left tidy and walked me through the app and next steps. Would highly reccomend!

Christie V · Solar install

Ryan and Jack did a great job doing the electrical work on my new 4 head split system. They got the job done in no time, and my split systems were up and running. Once connected, Ryan made sure all 4 heads were working. Thanks guys, great job!

James "Mitchi" Mitch · Split system

The experience is very nice with them. Specially Roy and Jack did their best. We are so much happy about their service. They heard every single word of us and suggest us which is good and why. Highly recommend

A NOTE FROM LUKE

Most of what's wrong with this industry comes down to one thing: the person selling isn't the person installing.

I'm a licensed A-Grade electrician, and so is everyone who'll be on your roof or in your switchboard. When we quote your home, we're quoting work we'll do ourselves — which is why we'll happily talk you out of gear you don't need.

If you're thinking about getting off gas, call us. Worst case, you'll hang up knowing more than you did.
