THE PROBLEM

The wires to your house were sized for 1985

Old consumer mains were sized for a house with a gas stove and one TV. Add an EV charger, induction and a heat pump and you can hit the ceiling of what the cable can carry.

We assess your supply, tell you straight whether you actually need an upgrade (often you don't — load management can carry more than people think), and handle the distributor paperwork when you do.

GOOD TO KNOW

How house power actually arrives

Between the street and your switchboard sit the consumer mains — the cables that carry everything your home will ever draw. Their size sets a hard ceiling. Most homes built before the nineties got mains sized for a fraction of today's loads, and no switchboard upgrade can push more current through a cable than it's rated to carry.

The good news: you may not need the upgrade you think you do. Load management devices can share capacity between an EV charger and the rest of the house intelligently, and honest measurement often shows headroom the paperwork doesn't. We measure first, and only recommend new mains when the maths says so — because it's a significant job and you should only do it once, sized for everything you'll ever add.

Jeffrey Belvez · Glen Waverley

Absolutely fantastic service and work done! The boys were super accommodating, answered any questions I had without a problem, left everything neat and tidy and overall did an amazing job installing our battery and inverter. Cannot recommend enough.

Isaac Giblett · Battery + inverter

Zak and Ryan did a amazing job. Even with the obstacles of a double story home with a internal switch board they persevered in the heat and got the job done. Thanks guys we realy appreciate your work and polite attitude.

Stephen S · Switchboard

Luke and his team installed our solar panels over the space of 2 days. Great service arrived on time and communicated well, took away all rubbish made sure the place was left tidy and walked me through the app and next steps. Would highly reccomend!

Christie V · Solar install

Ryan and Jack did a great job doing the electrical work on my new 4 head split system. They got the job done in no time, and my split systems were up and running. Once connected, Ryan made sure all 4 heads were working. Thanks guys, great job!

James "Mitchi" Mitch · Split system

The experience is very nice with them. Specially Roy and Jack did their best. We are so much happy about their service. They heard every single word of us and suggest us which is good and why. Highly recommend

A NOTE FROM LUKE

Most of what's wrong with this industry comes down to one thing: the person selling isn't the person installing.

I'm a licensed A-Grade electrician, and so is everyone who'll be on your roof or in your switchboard. When we quote your home, we're quoting work we'll do ourselves — which is why we'll happily talk you out of gear you don't need.

If you're thinking about getting off gas, call us. Worst case, you'll hang up knowing more than you did.
