Much of Boroondara now has underground supply in the newer pockets and overhead through the older streets, with mature elms and plane trees over the lines. Older homes with double-brick walls and no cavity make cable routes the real cost driver on any new circuit, including an EV charger to a rear garage. We scope those routes before quoting so the price doesn't move later.
