We assess the requested work, circuit protection, cable condition, access and switchboard capacity before setting the scope. The quote covers the agreed installation or repair, testing, certification and site clean-up. For power points, switches, fans, outdoor power and circuit repairs, see the full detail on general electrical work.
Without a railway line, Wantirna's rapid urbanisation waited until after Knox shire was formed in 1963, and most of its houses date from the decades that followed. Separate houses made up 90.3% of occupied dwellings at the 2021 Census. Homes of that vintage often have switchboards that have been partly upgraded, with some circuits on safety switches and others not, and general electrical work often begins with bringing the whole board under protection before new circuits are added.
Beyond that, the requests are familiar: power points where furniture now sits, lighting upgrades, outdoor power for entertaining areas, and circuits for split systems. The Scoresby Research Institute station, about 14 km away, averaged a July minimum of 5.9 °C from 1948 until it closed, so heating and cooling both put real load on household circuits through the year. Parts of Wantirna are in a designated Bushfire Prone Area. AusNet Services is the distributor for outages, metering and the supply line.

Luke and his team installed our solar panels over the space of 2 days. Great service arrived on time and communicated well, took away all rubbish made sure the place was left tidy and walked me through the app and next steps. Would highly reccomend!

Bayswater, Heathmont, Ringwood and Vermont are all part of the same patch as Wantirna. If we are at one, we are minutes from the others.
That is Knox, postcode 3152. Nothing about the usual job requires a council application.
We do small jobs. Plenty of our work is a couple of power points or a fan. If you've got a list, stack it into one visit and you'll get better value out of the call-out.
Tell us what is on the list and where the work is needed. We’ll assess the circuits, access and switchboard, then provide a clear quote for the agreed work. Book a visit or call our Boronia crew to discuss the job.
